I have two daughters, Avery 9 and Abbey 6, who also attend the Dieringer School District. They are fiery red heads and spend their after school hours at dance and gymnastics. My husband is a die hard UW fan, which makes Apple Cup a lot more colorful because I am a WSU Cougar.

I spent my first 12 years of teaching in the Federal Way School District before I came to Lake Tapps Elementary in 2017. I became GLAD certified in 2009 and National Board Certified in 2011. I am passionate about learning and hope to pass on a desire to be a life long learner to my students. I believe it is my job to teach the WHOLE child so I focus not just on academics, but also on social skills and growth mindset. I want all students to leave my classroom with confidence to take on new challenges.
