Meet my family: Kevin, my husband of 17 years. My daughters Kyla and Paris, and our dogs, Ginger and Josie
This is my sixth year at Lake Tapps Elementary. For 3 years I was a multi-age teacher with Mrs. Neubauer. Our classrooms are right next to each other, so we do projects and activities together on Fridays.
Here is an average weekly schedule: Spelling pre-test on Mondays, math homework will go home almost daily, spelling test on Friday, and Pearson test on Friday. Spelling will have 12 regular words and 3 additional challenge words. We have a bank and store once a month, students can earn pennies to use at this store by returning their How Did I Do sheet everyday, signed, completing and returning homework on time, as well as other opportunities during class.
How Did I Do sheets are a way for us to communicate how the day went. If your child has something other than a 4 circled, that means they needed help from me to manage their behavior. Please look at their HDID sheet everyday and sign it. The HDID sheet is also a newsletter, on the back there are announcements and important information for you.
The links portion of my webpage has some links that children can do from home, or you can get to them through student links. If your child does not remember their login and password, let me know.
